55 days to go

September 9, 2008

November 4th is right around the corner. Everyone might not share the same views, but hopefully we all know that we need a CHANGE! Barack Obama is more than just a celebrity candidate like the media says. I believe he is the man to help change our position in the World. Hit up his site and join the campaign!

Fridays is My Day!

September 6, 2008

I could go on and on for days about what I think of the state of the music industry but that would probably be boring. What I can do is give you the lowdown on the shit I like and why its hot. The GZA (aka The Genius) is somebody that I have been listening to since he dropped his first joint “Words from The Genius” a couple years before Wu debuted they 1st LP. If you look up his history then you will know why his new joint “Pro Tools” is at the top of my list. GZA literally kills shit on this LP, so hit that link and learn about it! Next up is my mans, Elzhi, from my hometown (Detroit). Not really known to the world until he became apart of Slum Village, Elzhi, is one of the illest lyricists to touch the mic since Nasty Nas. El’s new joint “The Preface” is one of those instant classics. Check that shit out and Happy Friday! (support and don’t bootleg!!)

The plot thickens…

September 3, 2008

I am starting to get very excited about what’s going down. We are on the verge of reaching a new plateau in this music game and it will take us from virtual unknowns to being your favorite label real soon. Rob Grimes is about 2 songs away from his debut and Havana is adding a little more flavor to her 2nd joint as well. Singles will officially be released soon and all I can say is GET READY!!! This past weekend Rob G and his crew were in full effect at the Little Brother show and me & Havana were hanging tight in San Diego with our friends from Los Angeles, J*Davey. More sneak peeks next week… (yeah!)
